Design Museum

Part of a short presentation I lashed up rapidly in support of my request to have a PIANA Chamber Orchestra installed in the Design Museum. They called for Pi-based projects, and I thought - "I have a Pi-based project - and it literally rocks".

And having struggled for hours with a too-slow computer and a too-demanding Final Cut Pro (damn you Apple for killing Final Cut Express!!! I LOVED that application), my favourite application du jour is now Keynote, as its ability to export video, and include video within slides, makes it the cheap man's video edit suite. Or rather, the CPU-deprived man's video edit suite. Rock on, Keynote!

  1. Hi. Have you managed to get one of your Pianas working yet, and do you have any video? Looks intriguing and a really exciting project.

  2. There's video of the PIANA software all over my YouTube channel and on earlier posts in this blog if you grub around, but none using the Player Pi Crust, as I am still awaiting hardware from China ... delivery should be this week, if the previous delivery is anything to go by. The Conductor seems to be in good shape, so once the Player PCB is back and works I can build me an orchestra.
